Christmas E-card 2006
It was a close thing, but we made it home for Christmas! The six weeks prior have been a non-stop whirlwind of visits to the doctors and short hospital stays—three PICC lines, two ports, one sepsis, and a partridge in a pear tree! Oh, plus three days without power, two nights in a hotel, one car break-in, and a blood transfusion for good measure. But on the eve of Christmas eve, we are home again, though we will miss the majority of family celebrations this year. Jenn is recovering nicely from her latest surgery, and will be back on TPN tonight for her holiday dinners. God is good, and for a few nights, at least, we will be at peace. We go into 2007 with the hope that the latest port will last a good long time!We lived a lot this year, spending a week rafting the Grand Canyon, plus short visits to the coast, Leavenworth, and our favorite spot on the Waptus River. We published three books, played with one of our church's worship teams for several months, and launched our own movie review website (see below). We have no complaints.
We send our love to you all, our apologies and regrets to those we will not be with this holiday, and bright hopes for the future.
