Clarence Gets Public Performance

Tampa’s Plant High School drama club has mounted a production of Tarkinton’s Clarence, a comedy in four acts, and will be performing it live next weekend.  The St. Petersburg Times reporting of the dates and times isn’t entirely clear, but from what I gather it will be playing at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, March 27 through 29, in the Plant Auditorium.

A week ago, the Tampa Tribune had reported:

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of Plant High School’s drama club, the current cast of student thespians will perform Booth Tarkington’s “Clarence,” which the school’s first senior class performed in 1928. Drama teacher Teryle Traver is inviting original cast members or their descendants to watch the play from front-row seats and be recognized.
